Perth Startup Secures $5M Investment to Revolutionise Medical Imaging with Artificial Intelligence

Perth-based startup A2B Technology Corporation Pty Ltd has announced a $5 million AUD investment from Hold My Beer Holdings to accelerate the development of its flagship product, Talk2View — a natural language-based medical imaging software described by some as "ChatGPT meets radiology."

Founded earlier this year by biomedical engineers Andy Huynh and Ben Zwick, lawyer and sustainability consultant Kat Dunn, and accountant and financial analyst Wilson Wan, the team proudly describes itself as "half tech, half compliance, all coffee."

Talk2View is designed to replace complex medical imaging interfaces with a conversational AI assistant that allows users to interact with medical scans and 3D anatomical models using natural language.

"This is the future of medical imaging," said Zwick. "Traditional image viewers are powerful but too complex for most users. Our Talk2View platform lets users—particularly medical students and medical practitioners—explore medical images and 3D visualisations of the human body using plain English."

With features such as real-time anatomy highlighting, context-aware assistance, and personalised study sessions, Talk2View aims to democratise access to high-end visualisation tools across clinics, research labs, and educational settings.

"We believe learning medicine should be more like a conversation and less like a series of traumatic flashcards," said Huynh. "Finally, students can ditch the textbooks and just ask the brain what's going on. Literally."

Dunn chimed in, adding that the platform is "like an interactive study buddy for the human body."

According to Hold My Beer Holdings, the investment reflects growing confidence in AI-enhanced medical software and the potential of natural language interfaces in both clinical and academic environments.

"A2B Technology is solving a genuine bottleneck in medical imaging and medical education more broadly," said a spokesperson from Hold My Beer Holdings. "We're excited to support the team in scaling this innovation globally."

The company plans to expand its engineering and medical partnerships, with early access to Talk2View expected later this year.
